Are there any cool games coming out in 2025?
For me I am looking forward to the SIMS 5, parasocial, simcity 5, airline tycoon 3..
I personally like playing simulation and tycoon games. Mainly business tycoon games.
However, I feel like lately those such games suck. I mean both game play concepts and the artwork.
They're making it more and more cartoonish.
What are your thoughts?
Not a whole lot announced for 2025 tbh. Only thing the comes to mind is Avowed and Kingdom Come 2 in Feb. Next few months is pretty stacked though.
GTA 6 is probably the most anticipated. I'm really looking forward to that but also Civ 7 and Kingdom Come 2.

oh cool but I heard GTA 6 is being pushed back to 2026 to be a possible release date. I heard they're incorproating
AI in to the game.
I heard about Civ 7 but don't know much about the features. I told fireaxes the company behind Civ7 to
make it that once you have the technology of building a space shuttle and then a more advance space ship.
You can then start making settlements and military bases on the moon and mars. I wanted Civ7 or at least maybe future Civ's.
where the game morphes into something like starcraft. However, you can mine in other planets and have bases and over time have tech to build space shuttle figher jets.
However, the only thing I know from what I have see they just added more civilizations and you have nukes but also hydrogen bonbs.
I even suggected to have tech that invents internet where you then can build and place utility poles with lines from city to city and can build nuclear powerplants far away from settlements and cities. If those lines get cut then you lose communication and electricity to the city.
I even suggested to add in sabotage for your spies where they can go and do more things like cause jets or aircrafts to malfunction.
Or to have them either cut the lines or hack servers and mess with their internet or banking software.
Stuff that effects the economy etc.
I am looking forward to civ7 but I hope that game runs by itself and you won't need to go online like on steam and play the game online.
The reason for it that the internet in my are is shit. The popultion grew here there's more and more houses and ISP's just keep addening more and more homes on the same dam internet line which causes a lot of like random drops of internet. My internet is spotting and it's because the ISP's don't upgrade their networks. We still using coax cable and your choice is either coax cable or dial up phone lines. This year at&t just laid down fiber optic lines but got money from our state to do this. Yet, their max speed they give is 25mbps upload and download but they want $500 a month for it. It's insane.
Games that come to mind which are currently slated to release next year are GTA 6, Borderlands 4, Death Stranding 2, Avowed, Fable, Civ 7, the new Doom game which I forget the name of, and there are of course multiple others both announced and not yet announced though how "big" they are may be subjective.
Given it some thought, to be fair there's more coming out than I initially thought, and some games that whilst don't have a date are likely for 2025.
Perfect Dark, Fable, Gears E-Day, not to mention we might get the new Mass Effect next year

Yeah I think the new Gears is probably being targeted for Q3 or Q4 of next year. The exception might be if they actually have a gears remastered collection in the works in which case I expect that will come out next year and E-Day the year after. As for the next Mass Effect game, definitely not unfortunately. Dragon Age isn't even out yet and then given all we know regarding the development of Mass Effect, it seems years off. On the bright side, multiple vets from the trilogy are back to work on it. We don't want another Andromeda situation so quite frankly they can and should take as much time as they need haha.

Let me dream damn it! Give me back my quarian gf Bioware
Any newer games? Even games that don't have a release date. Even games coming out 2026 or 2027.
I personally feel like the games that are coming out are mid.
I mean I am excited to see the sims 5 and CIV 7 but I don't expect much. I feel parasocial is doing more
than what the sims 5 will have. I personally wanted maxis or EA games to come out with simcity 5 that has seasons
in the game and a weather system that creates disasters on it's own due to weather pattern simulations.
The game should be installed on a computer and not required to have to be online to play the game.
Other than that for me the gaming industry don't excite me anymore.
I love the simulation games too. I am a big farm sim player so I am waiting on farm sim 25 in December
