There was a beautiful time in console gaming when these 3 games were amongst the most played and with seemingly everyone being glued to at least one of them. Which one or more of these games applied to you like that and if multiple, what order would you put them in for your favorites?

I'm going back to those days for my answer.

Online - Halo
Offline - Gears of War

I loved the campaign and horde mode of Gears. I didn't have internet when I played back then, so those were the only two modes I played. Online though, Halo was my addiction.

Now a days.

Call of duty all the way.

[oRequiem]

Played all of them.

- Call of Duty
- Halo
- Gears of War

Call Of Duty , Halo, Gears of War for myself.

Halo days were one of the best tho I still remember the last time ever playing halo reach and that was me done with it.

Halo days were truly something special man.

Yeah I was super big on Halo / GoW and then after I got a nice taste of CoD, it started to take over big time.

It was great back then. I forget which one I played, I think the first one, but it was pretty much.

I remember I was really into Halo 2 at the time, Gears came out and everyone left for Gears.

My favorites out of that group are definitely Halo and Call of Duty. Especially Halo 2/3 and Modern Warfare 1/2. Just absolutely legendary games, and they still hold up today. I still play master chief collection from time to time. My younger self definitely never imagined I would be playing those games on PC one day. Gears was pretty fun, but compared to the others, I didn't keep up with it as much.

I see. I never actually played Halo 1 or 2, just Halo Reach and Halo 3. (Halo Infinite as well, but don't care about it really).

2 is my all time favorite, but game play wise 3 and reach were so OP.

Oh man swat was unmatched. There was nothing better than just snapping onto heads and racking up the medals.
