Reading books or watching tv/movie |

It's interesting for me to compare my own mind's visualization to how others visualize the story to be. Also, there's usually a lot of stuff in the book that's cut out from movies for length purposes, so it's always cool to notice the differences. I'm personally a fan of just fucking the book and watching the tv show or the movie. I've never been a huge fan of books, but I can now see why reading is beneficial for you lol. idk, I just prefer sitting for an hour or two watching a movie, then moving on as opposed to reading a book for who knows how long. Books can definitely get boring sometimes, I put some down just because I don't find them that interesting. There's a lot of good books out there, though, you just have to find the ones that really appeal to you. Once you do, you'll literally lose track of time because of how into the book you are. One time, I finished a good 3-4 novels in the span of a day just because they were so good. (Oct 1, 2024 06:10 PM)DashPHP Wrote: Watching movies. Not a big fan on book reading. Eyyy I back that choice. Who has time for books these days? (Oct 1, 2024 05:46 PM)Fish Wrote: Do you prefer reading a book or watching a tv show or a movie based on a book? I enjoy both. I believe individuals can interperet the book in many different ways. I interperet his work as this: If you want to control the economy, you control the people. That is fundamentally authoritarianism. He references Hitlers regime as well and how that totalitarian system even came about. He has all sorts of talking points on economics. I would highly encourage you to give it a read or at least look it up sometime. It can be a difficult read however. ![]() (Oct 1, 2024 07:14 PM)Purgatory Wrote: I believe individuals can interperet the book in many different ways. That seems very interesting, I can kinda see where that's coming from. I'll try and find the book and give it a read! Thanks for sharing
I'm not a big book ready honestly. So if it was a choice between one or the other, definitely show/movie about the book rather than actually reading the book.

I find it more entertaining than reading a book (Oct 1, 2024 08:09 PM)oRequiem Wrote: It would have to be a movie. I honestly hate shows unless it's anime. Yup! I agree! Movie 100%. Books are too boring and slow. Id rather use a book as a fire starter than to entertain myself by reading it... Im not a huge anime fan though (Oct 1, 2024 07:19 PM)Fish Wrote: Yes!
