Uae accused Khartoum of bombing its ambassador's residenc

In a new escalation of the tense relations between Sudan and the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi accused Khartoum of bombing its ambassador's residence in the capital, causing significant damage to the building. The Sudanese army denied these accusations.

A statement issued by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarded this act as a fundamental violation of the principle of the inviolability of diplomatic premises and the necessity of providing protection for them.

It stated that the UAE would lodge an official protest with the Arab League, the African Union, and relevant organizations against the Sudanese government.

About a day after the Emirati accusations, the Sudanese army issued a statement refuting these claims.

It stated that it does not target embassies, diplomatic missions, or United Nations organizations, and does not use them as military bases. The statement emphasized that the Rapid Support Forces, supported by the UAE, are responsible for such actions.
