Doxxing in Real Time W/ Meta Glasses

Insane concept being demonstrated here with the help of Meta's new glasses.

TLDW: Kid programs app to scan live stream of IG from his glasses, uses screenshots/captures of individuals faces and used scraping methods to gather information on the persons. Pushing the findings to an app (iPhone) displaying the results in Real Time. Information provided, ranged from Photos, Social Media, Usernames, Addresses, Phone Numbers, etc.. (basically whatever they can pull from public records). There's no real breakdown of turnaround time, diagnostics, or if these were "actors" in his video to allow for an easier demonstration, but definitely a neat concept, and might open the door for a world of possibilities.
That thing is dangerous in my opinion, you could film anything without people being aware about it. To be honest, if it's true, these glasses are really well made, I wouldn't be able to detect that they have a built-in camera and they could record me.

The humanity took a turn because of the technology, I'm not against technology but it's often used in the wrong way. The next step is CCTV and AI, of course it's a good thing to prevent crime, and to help during investigations, but it will turn into a dystopian thing I'm 100% sure.

Super dangerous, new pen-testing level unlocked.

The way to think of this, is like the License Plate Scanners, when they first came out it was kind of scary but has found its purpose in the world of legalities. Authorities or Gov figures could implement these features (look at china) for running real time analyses for warrants which would be a somewhat decent outcome from this tech.

Reminded me of a Black Mirror episode, with social credit. Scanning facial features and displaying their social interaction rating, might be the next Meta.
Well, it's not just being tested by a kid. There are several provinces in China where the entire state is wired up into one big CCTV type network and the feed is being analyzed live to catalog who is where and when. Specifically there are alarms set to go up if an individual with a certain score is wandering around an area of people with a different score.

Or to track past offenders and allegedly prevent crimes from happening before they happen.

It's definitely at that level here today, and it's not a secret or anything. At least not in China anyway.
