Will the Blueprint for an AI Bill of Rights Help or Hinder Fraud Prevention?

As AI tools have become more accessible to the public, they have increasingly posed a dual threat in fraud prevention. Criminals have begun harnessing these tools’ powerful capabilities for illegal purposes. This alarming trend raises broader concerns about the potential for AI misuse and highlights the urgent need for protective measures.

By and large, I don't think laws will help in this manner. You have large companies already that build and release restricted AI, and on the other hand you have private groups and individuals releasing unrestricted AI.

I feel like the big problem is that the bad guys won't play by the rules. Still and all it's good to have some ethical guidelines. But I think the whole concept of "halting the development of Ai" is just stupid because that would only mean the "bad guys" will get far ahead of the good guys. And by "good guys" I just mean the ones in power who give a good God damn about ethics at all, whoever they may actually be.
