It's been a while since last time I got ones, I need to feel the needle on my skin again 💀

I already have few tattoos about hacking / IT

I'm thinking about :
- a floppy disk (with something wrote on it, don't know yet)
- an old computer with a CRT screen
- some code (probably wrote in C, but I don't know that much about C for the time being so would be kinda "fake")
- Tux
- 0 and 1 (binary, not gender binary, I saw you coming)
- anonymous and mr.robot masks
- a glider (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glider_(Co...ker_emblem)
- a power button

I would like some fun quotes such as "404 is not my religion" (cause when I'm looking for something doing pentesting I find it), but not sure about the translation

Anything related to hacking culture is good too, I already have one about Matrix for example

Feel free to give me your suggestions, I'm really interested into black hat methods / activities right now, I might get a tattoo related to this too

u could hide the QR code within the Art that you will go with for example if u go with old computer with CRT screen, put QR code with hidden message inside the screen C:

I'm not fond of basic QR codes because I saw so many from "geek" people on Instagram and stuff, however hiding it in a bigger piece is a good idea ! Now I need to find an idea about what the QR code will be linked to haha

Wondering too how many time it will be readable, as tattoos change with time, I think that after few years the QR code will not work anymore

I'm not into black hat / illegal activities and I already have visible tattoos about hacking (such as a 127.0.0.1 on the neck which I can only hide with turtlenecks). It doesn't bother me to get visible tattoos

That sounds like an awesome collection of tech-inspired tattoos! I love the idea of a floppy disk. Maybe you could write something like ‘Data Never Dies’ or ‘Insert Disk’ on it for a fun retro vibe. The CRT screen would be such a cool throwback, especially if you did some old-school code or a ‘blue screen of death’ on the monitor. For the C code, you could keep it simple, like a basic ‘Hello World’ program. Another idea might be the hacker phrase ‘There’s no patch for human stupidity’ — classic in hacking culture! What do you think of incorporating elements like a network diagram or a trace route?

I didn't know the phrase "There's no patch for human stupidity" but I like the idea ! And I agree with it, thanks for sharing this, I'm adding it to my wishlist :)

I'm not against networking stuff, in fact any thing related to the IT field is considered, but I don't want to get a cisco router for example lol, however something networking related and which is cool / original can be a good idea

I highly recommend NOT to let someone that's brand new to give you something. More often than not it's not done properly, lines are bad, ink isn't at the right depth, and overall will be low quality.

I would recommend saving money for someone that has lots of experience and will give you high quality work that will last a long time. Otherwise it might be something you end getting covered up.

Also some tattoos that you want good detail and complexity commonly are larger than your hand depending on what you want specifically. Especially if you want anything with letters and numbers they often need to be fairly large otherwise you won't be able to read it in 3 years it will look very blurry.
