Discuss Your Favorite Games and Why They're Great

Short, simple, and to the point
Red Dead Redemption

It's the best open world rpg (if you wanna call that) ever created. Of course created by Rockstar. The benchmark they have set is insane and only GTAVI will surpass that in my opinion.

The world is so interactive and likely that you can spend dozens of hours without even doing any missions.

The story is amazing and emotional too. It has everything that a early 20th century world should have.

For me it’s rocket league, a hard and enjoying game, the only sad thing is that they can’t really do updates so i think it will die very soon, but beside that it’s maybe the hardest game to learn with all the mechanics. Thats why i like it that much, you can’t just join rocket league and be good straight away.

Apex Legends fast-paced and always exciting. Rust chaos and creativity combined. Sea of Thieves chill vibes with friends and unpredictable fun.
For some reason I got quite into wolfenstein for a while.

I’ve learned to enjoy single player campaign games over the years as I’ve lost internet friends.

Nothing can beat a good campaign
This question is almost impossible to answer. I have a ton of games I used to play on a regular basis. However I do have some great highlights whilst growing up, these deserve some special mentions. I will list these in no particular order.

Warhammer 40000: Dawn of War – Soulstorm - This entire franchise was just straight up amazing during it's time. I wasn't usually a RTS fan but I couldn't stop playing this game, it had replayability and a competitive nature to it which kept sending me back to play. Despite the various bugs and crashes for it's time it was very solid. The community was thriving, and the faction diversity meant every match could feel wildly different.

H1Z1 Battle Royale - Now this was a game I sunk many hours into. This was one of the very first battle royal games before they became extremely popular. Despite the company completing destroying the game and refusing to fix any of the bugs within the game during it's time, it still today holds a special place in my heart.

Call of Duty: World at War - Arguably the best call of duty game ever made. Grinding hours and hours playing search and destroy to maintain my #5 position on the leaderboard, search and destroy was the best game mode hands down. Then you had the zombies, running around Shi No Numa with the wunderwaffe and ray gun was the best meta before all the bugs and glitches were introduced.

Nowadays I'm taking more of a casual approach to games. From WoW classic, Hearthstone, League of Legends and Battlefield. Vermintide 2 is still a solid game I also keep going back to.

I've probably missed some great games that I used to play. As I said, this question is impossible for me to answer.
