If we look at previous bull runs...Bitcoin either has 1 huge run up and an alt season goes off before a crash, or 1 run up, alt season, and a final run up, with another alt season before a crash.
A lot of people have been speculating that this is feels like the 2021 bull run. However I am sure this is more like in 2017/18 where we had Bitcoin reach an all time high by end of December before starting to crash down into the bear market.
I definitely have no way to predict the future, but one thing is certain is Bitcoin is the first mover of the market and will always be up in the end. But it is nice to try to time alt seasons for side profit, while accumulating Bitcoin , and to try to time corrections for more buys of bitcoin and certain alt coins for side profit.
I try to use Bitcoin's past data and moves to time alt coin seasons + profits while accumulating BTC/ETH/LTC. Bitcoin = must have in portfolio, ETH = is like a hedge and the second to move after Bitcoin. Litecoin = I would not consider this one a hedge, but it has proven every bitcoin bullrun to follow path.
Everything else in the space is a risk on your own, but I have found it is possible to time certain alt coins with BTC movement...like SOL, Doge, SHIB, XRP, ALGO, FTM, VECHAIN, TRON, XLM, ADA, & HBAR (from my own research).
I am sure it would be possible to do this with Bitcoin Cash, Chainlink, ETH Classic, Monero, & others...but I have not really gotten into these coins. But I have done at least background research on them.
Would love to hear opinions on the upcoming market. I think Dec-Sept is going to be an interesting bull run.
