I noticed that the ignore list does not allow you to ignore a username if it's less than 3 characters. This is technically a bug because some users have less than 3 characters in their name.
This isn't a bug. The minimum username length is 3 characters, anyone with less than that paid for it. You can ignore from their profile if you want.

Thanks, that's true, but if the user has ignored you then you cannot access their profile. Obviously this is a very small issue and not a huge dev priority - just figured I would flag it.

Replace POST_KEY_PLACEHOLDER with the value of the JavaScript variable my_post_key.
Enjoy

Thanks, that should work I think!
I appreciate you
Yeah, that shit is bugged, looked at it and even when hard-coding the min char to just 1 char it bugged out. Personally never liked how that feature worked, would love to replace it one day.

I looked around and the only thing I found besides "ignorelist", "ignore_list" and "do_editlists" was this thing:
"minnamelength"
- It looked promising for some automatic validation on backend, which could be doing things in between the PHP POST & final DB changes? I noticed one JS validator that might be getting used, but not sure.

If you're asking about where it's used....also on Memberlist and Convo too. Admin Control Panel also in more than a few spots.

Yeah nothing is as simple as a global config setting :(
Thanks for the answers on this - I sorted it out as well.

An entire suggestion thread over someone he wants to block, but cannot.
Happy Monday!
It's not that big of a deal, but it's technically a "bug" to not have a clear way to ignore every user.
I did end up being able to though, thanks to this thread / Nach

Thank you for being so attentive to the cause.
Closing this thread ~ not sure what else can come from this.
