best way to analyze connections?

what is best way to analyze what connections a process external make when running?
There are many tools, less or more advanced :

- Process Explorer / Procmon / Process Hacker
- Fiddler
- Wireshark

Some options are more "trivial / user-friendly" such as :
- Glasswire (Windows)
- Safing Portmaster (Windows / Linux) : https://safing.io/
A list of great tools above but I would also like to include tcpdump if you're on Linux.

Network connections, right? Easiest way is running netstat. There's also TCPView. Doing a memory dump is unnecessary but an option.
