If your funds aren't good at the moment, you do know you can upgrade using bytes as well.. right? Get your bytes up by being active on the forum, then use the on-site games to try and hustle up enough bytes for an upgrade. I've seen users do it.. have only a couple hundred bytes, and gambled their way up to a few thousand. Best thing about it is there are multiple different games you can play, you're not forced to only playing one. Good luck. :)

I first joined HF nearly a decade ago. After years I have come back to it and it doesn't feel alien despite the changes and members leaving or joining.
Everytime there's something going on and there's always an incentive here for being active. Whether selling services, winning contests, getting bytes (which wasn't here back in the day), learning new tricks or talking to cool people with different walks of life.
It starts to get a bit nostalgic when I think about it. Lol

You're right, there's a little bit of everything available while here. I can only imagine what it was like when this place was at it's peak. Would of loved to see what that was like, and experience it for myself. Even just playing the on-site games, is enjoyable for me. No other forum that I'm a part of has games, nor bytes.. so for those two things alone, makes HF a great place. Really hope Omni can get things to turn around as far as getting more users on the site.. while forums are on the decline, they're still here and we gotta make the best out of them while they're still available.
