I’ve been thinking about those who can’t be with their families during the holidays, especially this Christmas season and I’d like to make a thread to acknowledge them.
While many of us celebrate with family and friends during the holidays, there are countless people who spend those special days working – keeping the world running and others safe.
A huge thank you to those working during the holidays!
Shoutout to those working on holidays: Medical professionals, emergency services, transportation and travel workers, retail, hospitality, and food service workers, utility workers, delivery drivers and others.
Let’s take a moment to appreciate those who sacrifice their holidays to make sure ours are safe and joyful. ❤️
I just returned from shopping, and there are still many people out there purchasing Christmas stuff, with retail workers still wearing smiles.
Kudos to all of you!

Absolutely! That's what I am thinking!
It takes a lot of patience and energy to keep up that holiday cheer during such a busy season.
Big respect to all the retail workers making the holidays brighter for everyone!

You've opened my eyes to the fact that I didn't give it much thought when I was shopping. Thanks now I have new thread created about it.

I had a similar experience – while driving back from the mall, I noticed some workers on the road and saw an ambulance passing by. It really made me pause and reflect. It’s easy to overlook, but moments like that remind me of the hard work and dedication that keeps everything running during the holidays
I agree! Salute to all those who are working over the holidays

Amen to that.
It dawns on me after contemplating that I could soon find myself in their position, working a 9 to 5 job, and wondering if I will be able to cope with it when handling household tasks feels like a chore to me.
Speaking of work, do you own a business?
I'm off Christmas but I'll be really busy Christmas Eve and the day after Christmas.
