Even tho I never felt like a deadline in the past 11 months, this month seem awkwardly high tense.

I take a lot of works every month, whereas, even with sometimes passing the deadline doesn't have much effect on me as I finish up the work profile within next 24 hours or at maximum within 48 hours, to say 2 days extension at best..


But now my deadline messages are as follows, the Year is about to end, please finish it fast. Or please clear the invoice before the Years meet. As if it seems I took a work and had been a year finishing it!

Funny how things play out like this but I really feel tensed when I get messages like this - "the year is almost out or the year is almost at the end"!

Does anyone else feel the same when taking work at the ends meet!

Yeah I feel this! At my job it's like "Oh this ticket isn't high importance but we have a lot of them like this and want to start the new year fresh so please close all these tickets out". Like bro it's the holidays I'm tryna chill

Yea, as work always remain same be it this year or the next. So people should know we also need a break!

Weird as I feel at the end of the year is better for me as they're winding down so it makes it less tense. Though I don't work in a corp world anymore so maybe I am out of touch.
