Palisades and Eaton fires

Not really new news, but this is meant to be more of a discussion. What do you think of all this? The crazy smiles and laughs of the politicians on camera during this time? Do you think they will bulldoze the areas and rebuild homes or rezone for ritzy businesses for the rich and famous? Even if they do rebuild homes will they be 3 bedroom one story affordable homes or 6 bedroom 2 story with a pool?

Someone started a thread in the lounge but I figured I’d put one here in the “happenings” area. This is my opinion. Yep I’m an ass hole 🤷🏼‍♂️.

Quote: I feel bad for the hour to hour, paycheck to paycheck people in rentals, trailers and 3 bedroom homes build in the 1960’s.

Everyone else I personally think it’s hilarious. When I see a family crying about their home they lived in for 40 years being burnt to a crispy McNugget I ask “wow 40 years and you still didn’t have the sense to save and move” Real life Darwin Award winners over there.
shrugs shoulders, with a wide grin oh well, doesn’t bother me.

And don’t get me started on the celebrities and politicians in the palisades….psh please
Everything is 100% insured in California. Not a single person will lose a penny. Same thing in Florida during hurricane. Everybody got insurance payments and 1.5 million flooded cars were sold on Copart and shipped out of United States of America.

No, legally, they all had to have insurance. LEGALLY.

It’s not car insurance moron. Homeowners insurance isn't legally required in my state. Maybe California is different. Also I drive a car and don’t have insurance on it. My point is I have free will and choose not to have insurance. So I’m sure many people choose not to have it also. Not to mention tons of companies pulled out of the state of Cali or they removed the fire insurance from the policy. So again it’s prob not legally required…

But I digress all knowing exiled moron.
Everything is doing down
