I was browsing steam free games and did not even realize Delta Force was brought back to life. I remember sitting on the floor watching my dad play the og lol. Good times.
Now I am playing it and my son is hanging out and watching too

Anyways, its the most up to date game I have played. The last pc game i bought was pubg in 2019 and i still play.
I was really surprised at how great this game looks and feels. Its got some decent gunplay.
But I'm still getting used to the fast paced, run in get what you can and die aspect of it. The large team split into squads seems kind of pointless to me. And 30 minutes of run n gun without being able to make a plan or sneak up people is pretty exhausting.

Fun game though either way, something I can play a match or two once in a while and move on with my life.

Also apparently steams award for 'win 1 match' is only held by 0.1% of the player base lol. So I'm really good

It does give off some battlefield vibes, especially trying to learn the damn helicopter lol

Bummer, I know what you mean though.

Things have definitely slowed down for me as I have gotten older. But if I happen to have some extra time on a day off work, projects/chores are done and the kids are chillin, ill drop 30mins or an hour into a game.

Tried it out as someone who absloutely loves the vehicle gameplay in any Battlefield.

It's not bad, it's just not battlefield... Nothing comes close to flying a f-35/su-57 Felon around in a lobby of 128 people

It's worth it for a free game. We lost interest pretty quickly with how repetitive it is. No real way to adjust gameplay, just run n gun.

I wanted to give it a go but I heard there is a ton of cheaters. Considering it's F2P I don't doubt the rumours.

I've stepped back from it now, it got boring a bit quickly. I did not experience obvious cheating though. I had read there was a lot but I personally did not see it. But there is also a lot going on and hard to know who got you and how.
Overall, its fun for a week or two.
