Mats, known as Ibelin in WoW died as a handicapped man, but lived in Azeroth as a well-loved and free and influential person.
An interesting movie overall - definitely worth a watch but is more on the slower, emotional side of documentaries than it is about gaming itself. They do use in game scenes and custom animations to reenact his life in WoW.
