I think it could be interesting if Stanley let users bump other peoples threads. For example there’s a hacking related thread in News that someone posted and it is nearing the bottom of page 1. It could be interesting if we could pay bytes to bump someone else’s thread in support.

There could be a separate feature, to bump a thread so that Stanley mentions it in convo.
This could cost X bytes.
There could be an award for bumping other user threads at least Y times, and an award for receiving convo bumps for others at least Z times.
This would help deflate the number of bytes in circulation, boosting that system, and it would also help overall site activity.

It could broadcast it to the convo for a certain amount of bytes similar to how it does when you first create the thread, but you are also just allowed to post your thread into the convo, so I guess that wouldn't work.
