Trump impeachment case starting up in Texas - Round 3

Politicians are motioning to impeach Trump.
This is a developing story.

Quote:Democratic Representative Al Green announced Wednesday he would file articles of impeachment against Donald Trump, saying the president's recent comments about Gaza "will live in infamy."

The Texas Democrat said on the House floor he would bring the articles against Trump, who was impeached twice in his first term, for "dastardly deeds proposed and dastardly deeds done."

Green said he wants to impeach Trump after the president suggested that the U.S. “will take over the Gaza Strip” during a press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Green called this a “dastardly deed” that constitutes ethnic cleansing.

“Ethnic cleansing in Gaza is not a joke, especially when it emanates from the president of the United States, the most powerful person in the world,” the lawmaker said from the House floor. “And the prime minister of Israel should be ashamed, knowing the history of his people, to stand there and allow such things to be said.

“Dr King was right: Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere, and injustice in Gaza is a threat to justice in the United States of America,” he continued. “I rise to announce that the movement to impeach the president has begun. I rise to announce that I will bring articles of impeachment against the president for dastardly deeds proposed, and dastardly deeds done.”

I personally think that we will see him impeached - possibly before midterms, but more likely to be afterwards. I'm not saying he'll be removed, but I do think we could see a full impeachment trial before 2028.

At this rate the man violates the law every other day, so it's really just a matter of time.
I'm not sure if the Gaza comments alone are enough for impeachment, but I'm happy to see that people are clearly thinking about it.
I think an impeachment would be more likely to revolve around Congressionally approved programs being illegally dismantled, than it is likely to be about his Gaza comments, but if this Texas politician wants to kick things off with this, let's do it.
Lol, i really don't think so. Trump is doing great things for America.
None of this matters unless it goes through both the house and senate. Its December 18, 2019 all over again. All this does is show how worthless the politicians are. Focus on whats good for your state and the people who voted for you, stop using your position so further your own agenda.

I completely agree, which is why it is weird that Musk and Trump seem so hellbent on tweeting and doing bullshit rather than governing and building up a productive system underneath them to orchestrate it. It's better to replace government efforts rather than just defund, despise, and depose of agencies without any sort of replacement. Not just that, it seems that in many cases, their targets have at least one odd coincidental motive that could be described as personal and impeachable, the same way Republicans accused Hunter & Joe Biden. I think when it comes to impeaching, it's not the person who files for a judge to overlook the evidence that should be criticized - it is the one who is being impeached who must be criticized fairly, impartially, and by both sides of the political spectrum. If one side refuses to even consider that Trump has committed an impeachable offense in the future (not saying this current case out of Texas is that) , then we won't ever be able to be as productive as we could be if both red & blue would work together in this country. I'm not saying everyone must agree to impeach Trump, I'm saying that we must all be always willing to fairly and unitedly criticize our presidents, of any party, at any time, and if we find that they have overstepped their constitutional authority to the neglect of the people's rights, then we must act accordingly and file articles of impeachment.

Oh they don’t tweet 😂 they have overpaid aids and unpaid interns that do that shit.

It’s gonna take a civil war, or a national tragedy (like 9/11) for the 2 sides to ever work together again. This bickering, tweeting and revenge crap will go on for the foreseeable future.

Based on typos, emotion, and illegal nature of many of the tweets, I’m sure many are straight from the source.

Even an aid writes better and knows better.
