Chess.com has tutorials and simulated games for teaching but I’m not sure if they expect you to know some basic moves. I’d be surprised if they don’t have a true beginner guide. I’ll check later

I am a massive chess fan and have kept up with it since I was 10, I'm not all that good at classic games but I do at least 5 puzzles daily on the app.

I mostly play 3｜2 games, and I won't post my exact Elo or username as I have a lot of IRL friends on there with pictures, but I'm only rated 700~ rapid and 900~ in blitz, and just under 2k in puzzles

It would be cool to get a little tournament going!

I made a new account specifically so I could play with HF people.
On my personal the ratings are from around 850 - 1500 depending on the time interval.

I do love 3|0 , 3|2, and sometimes 1|0 or 1|2

My best ratings are in the 10|0 bracket, followed by 3|0. Sometimes I play 3|2 better because I can afford to lose some time and then gain back time per move with premoves. On computer though, I prefer |0 intervals because I can't move as quickly as I can on my phone - which is tough if you are playing against someone on a phone. I also need to figure out how to premove on Chess.com. As a Lichess player, Chess.com's UI feels slow and clunky at times.

These are my 4 most played time intervals though ^^

rewatched my game from last night. Had some big mistakes but glad I still managed to win.
Could've been a lot more brutal though if I didn't make a couple bad moves.

That's the Botez twins, there's a lot of Female Chess content creators, Anna Cramling is really good too, she makes informational content and both her parents are GMs.

And for Tutorials just follow the Chess.com ones at the start, they are pretty good at teaching the basics.
