Hey everyone I've been working on a telegram bot that would be used sort of like a menu for selling logs and various other things, I am setting it up so that when you get to the "pay" portion , it spits out a link that you can click on to start a contract with me on here.

I have did a contract before on the other end, as a purchaser, and things went smoothly. I really like how the system works.

I wanted to ask what would be an appropriate link to have it spit out ? Just a link to hackforums.net and instructions on how to start a contract? Maybe a link to my thread where I advertise these services when it's ready to launch?

Any recommendations are welcomed.

I want it to be so that you could clink the link and go straight to where you could start a contract here. Any ideas like what link I should put to get the job done efficiently for the user ?

There also would not be any other payment option present except to start a contract on HF to clarify I would only want to sell on site using contracts / middleman.

Any advice from vendors on where to start with this ? Where would you recommend I make a post to start advertising services at?

Thanks so much for the response ! I think im gonna start off just as a normal seller, i see the "vendors" is for top sellers. So i think i have a ways to go before I apply. Once I get some contracts under my belt I will do that.

This is a cool idea but I think you will need to add 1 step in-between. I'm not a marketplace user but from my understanding, the Contract button's creation and associated magic is actually in the mybb plugin/mycode and isn't executed until you make a post.

You could perhaps create the contract button and if it retains your unique variables in the URL, use that externally.

My suggestion would be to create a sales thread here for your product and include the Contract button there. This way, HF members and others coming from your link can also view your menu or other details as well as the contract button.

To create a contract, I believe you'll also need a marketplace Thread ID to reference, so the aforementioned sales thread is probably unavoidable.

Note any users you refer from telegram would obviously need to have accounts to engage in a contract.

Thanks so much for the feedback! And that was the missing piece of the puzzle is creating a sales thread with a contract button on it. I'm gonna make that post within the next few days once I put the last finishing touches on the bot.
