Most likely $70-$100 for the standard edition, with deluxe editions potentially reaching $100 or more.
I can't believe the JFK files were released before we even get to see GTA 6. Agree , and it will not sell good if requirements are too high (Mar 24, 2025 05:56 PM)TheFr0ntMan Wrote: No way GTA 6 will be below 125$. They charge 70-80$ for trash games like Assassin's Creed Shadows already and all of the Ubisoft shit. This game costed 2B $ to be created, it will cost something. Keeping it at $70 or close to it would maximize sales volume, especially given GTA 5’s 205 million copies. Too much speculation in regards of what the price will be. Exactly, but I also think even if they price it at $100 or $125 it will be justified (Hopefully) (Mar 24, 2025 07:26 PM)TheFr0ntMan Wrote: Exactly, but I also think even if they price it at $100 or $125 it will be justified (Hopefully) Meh. All their true money comes from the in game purchases. They would never mess that up from what they learned on GTA 5. Lower initial buy in probably leads to more longterm in-game purchases. ![]() (Mar 27, 2025 02:25 AM)CG_G Wrote: Seen a lot of posts around saying $100 and speculating on GaaS model. Be surprised if it's less than $100 This is the problem, people will do anything for clicks and views so creating a false narrative grants them that. Rockstar hasn't announced anything in regards of the pricing as of yet so the individual fans who are incredibly hyped start to make up their own pricing. Yeah, and if memory serves, GTA5 was £40 or thereabouts and I swear I remember they made $1 Billion in a month. As long as it's priced fairly I'll buy games, but there's a lot of gouging and greed in the market atm. It's why I play so many Indie games, plus they tend to be more innovative. |
