The minimum API level that can be sideloaded on A16 is 25, and AhMyth targets at least level 26. This does not mean that it will work properly. Old free RATs like this one usually target an API level that doesn't require the strict permissions of recent Android versions. You could require permissions issues and other problems, particularly if not sideloading it yourself. Android's security measures will heavily restrict what the RAT can do. Scoped storage may block any access to files, for instance. Android's app killer can prevent the app from running in the background. After about three months of no use, the app will be force stopped and cleared. Then there's Play Protect. And if you're not binding the RAT to a legitimate APK, it's not really a Trojan. Also, please keep discussions of Remote Administration Tools in that forum. |
