Hello guys, i have bought many courses about hacking in metasploit and every time when i use payload e.t.c, i must put RHOST in options, i always put my metasploitable2 local ip, but i wanna know how to hack over lan network. How to do it?

if you want to hack on your local network, get your wlan0 ip (ifconfig) and set it to that then set the target to the local ip of the target.

Correct me if I am wrong. I am going off memory and I havent touched ms in a while.

You've already had experience exploiting a metasploitable2 VM, so what is the question? You stymied by systems that are secure by design and came here for a magic hacking tool? Or is it that you totally skipped the chapter on scanning and enumeration?
