Cyber attack is not excluded from the causes; I've also heard about too much electricity produced that could be at the origin of the outage.

Hello, i have seen that in the news too. I have heard that the CNI confirms its a cyber attack. But the source of the post its not reliable

I heard that temperature fluctuations were the official cause. That, and having little firm power in the grid.

This is the result of allowing your grid to go from Oil to Wind/Solar. Over 50% of Spain's power grid is "renewables" now.

I don't think it's cyberattack at all. I think it's just crappy grid.

My money is on a cyber attack but whether they would actually state that even if it was it debatable as it'd only stoke fear. Likely they'll say it was an outdated or overloaded grid but I don't think it was. Maybe I'm a conspiracy nut :D

Yes, I expected less time but in the end I had to wait about 9 hours or so, oh on the news they said that 4 people died, a tragedy, and what bad luck for the people who were in the elevators, trains and such things.
