Public Service Announcement:

If you're going to send me.. or any user for that matter, a Private Message.. please take the time to ensure that you're able to receive Private Messages.. as I occasionally get messages from users who have their Private Messages turned off.. or their Mailbox is Full, meaning that there is no way for me to reply to their message. As a courtesy, I normally will reach out to the user via Chat/Convo and give them a heads up that they're unable to receive Private Messages.. but when you don't check your Chat/Convo neither, and continue to send me Private Messages.. then there isn't much I can do.



reim - I'm partially writing this thread, addressing you.. as you've sent me more then one message, and you have your Private Messages turned off, and you don't check your Chat/Convo - as I sent you messages there as well.. so I'm a bit confused how you're expecting us to communicate with each other?

I'm honestly not sure how they end up getting turned off, I know it's not a default setting, as my messages have always been on since I've joined. It has to be something they're turning off on their own. You would be surprised how many times this happens! It gets a bit annoying after a while.

Yes, the Full Inbox is another annoying situation.. but I can at least understand them not knowing about their inbox being Full, but when you turn off your Private Messages purposely, and then never turn them back on... but continue to reach out to people.. it's like pulling teeth. Arggggh..


reim - Happy to know that you got the notification, but you're still doing the same thing. You sent me 2 more Private Messages today, and your Private Messages are still turned off. You need to turn your Private Messages on, if you would like me to respond to your message. I've also sent you multiple messages on Chat/Convo, but it appears you don't check that. Please take the time to reach out to one of the Staff, and learn how to turn your Private Messages back on, because we're going in circles at this point. You can find the Staff contacts at the bottom of the screen, by clicking on the 'Staff' link.
