Hey guys,

I’m trying to help my cousin overseas who gave me permission to use their credit card to buy crypto, but they won’t be available to go through full KYC or ID verification while traveling.

I’m looking for platforms or exchanges that:

✅ Accept credit cards

✅ Allow buying crypto (USDT, ETH, BTC, etc.)

✅ Require minimal verification (or ideally no selfie/photo ID)

❌ Do not ask for a bank statement or physical confirmation

⚠️ We’re not looking to do anything shady — just trying to keep it simple while they’re away and can’t submit docs.

Does anyone know any trusted sites or P2P platforms that could work for this?

What would you consider minimal verification? I’d assume that if someone is traveling they’d have their documents with them, and requesting a bank statement can often easily be done via the bank’s app. Some more info regarding this aswell as wanted amounts would probably be helpful for suggestions.

Depending on the amount, giftcards for various services such as Nintendo, Xbox and Amazon can be bought online and then sold on p2p sites like Noones (non-KYC depending on the country and amount) or on giftcard swap subreddits, expect to get around 70-80% of the giftcards value in crypto. He’d probably fetch more for it if he could buy the giftcards physically in store.

Is a credit card the only way he can pay? Crypto ATMs are prevalent in a lot of countries, he could potentially withdraw cash from the cc and use one of those, the fees vary but are a bit better than what you’d get with giftcards.

This made me remember that Moonshot, a fairly popular but new exchange Tweeted a while ago that they accept Apple Pay with no-KYC for up to $500 a week, take this with an extreme heavy grain of salt though. I never used the exchange myself and I find the wording in the Tweet to be fairly vague, as they are using Coinbase for it: https://x.com/moonshot/status/1859295011138871481

Why not just buy small amounts of crypto? Thats the only way really to get around the requirement.

I've just discovered changenow let's you buy with card. They have Google pay as I payment option. I think I'll give them a go although I'd be trying with visa prepaid so most likely fail

Were you able to buy from any of these mentioned? If so, did you have to at least confirm the billing address? What do you say about the location?... since you are not at the address location of your cousin's cc, does it allow you to buy?
