Can someone tell me an easy way to encrypt data using AES256 quickly using C++? Is there a cryptography library I could use to do AES256 encryption?

For example, last year I was able to use AES 256 without being detected as using cryptographic libraries - This can be harder to achieve with the standard libs. You can use openssl or Crypto++ or write your own function. If you want to write it yourself a good start is looking at this : Reading Material AES-256 If you can't understand it then it's best to use openssl like the others have said because that's more easier to implement. ![]()

Try mbedTLS (formerly PolarSSL) for lightweight AES256 encryption in C++. It's easy to set up and ideal for resource-constrained environments. https://www.trustedfirmware.org/projects/mbed-tls/ Hope this serves as another useful piece of advice! 👍 EDIT: I forgot to provide the link, my apologies. |
