Depends on where you start from.
If you have solid IT knowledge you can look into preparation guides for pentesting certs just to have an overview of the things you have to learn. You could also look into roadmaps. If you're starting from zero, start by learning linux, networking concepts and how web apps work.
Hi buddy. The advice I can give you and start from scratch is to sign up for a platform like Hackthebox or Tryhackme and start studying and practicing there. Start with the basics, choose the field of offensive security, and learn step by step, following the path recommended by the platform.
Well hackthebox and tryhackme are good places to start. But if you want to go pro, you need to practice a lot and read a lot of books on pentesting. And if you're the type fascinated with taking risk then you can take a little risk but don't get caught. Make sure your OpSec is very sound so you don't get busted.
