I got a password hash (blowfish open bsd) and Ive heard from friends that you could bruteforce it to decrypt it. Is there anywhere I can just pay someone to attempt to brute force it using password lists or like how do I do it myself, idk what im doing someone just told me to ask here.

So, download hashcat.
https://hashcat.net/hashcat/
Update your GPU drivers and any extra software hashcat recommends
Then nacigate to the folder hashcat is in in cmd ( cd \Downloads\hashcat )
Download some wordlists:
https://weakpass.com/wordlists
Drop them in the same folder as hashcat
then all you do is us some AI to identify the hash and write the hashcat command to crack it using the wordlist you downloaded, or bruteforce it, which requires no wordlist but can takes hundreds of years depending on the hash algorithm and PW length.

You'll need scads of money for a true bruteforce of Blowfish. Dictionary attacks use wordlists. Still expensive.

If you got a good GPU rig, you can use hashcat to make it work. I can also provide you a good hashcat cheatsheet if required.
