Hey guys, so I was planning to buy Monero because I wanted to buy anonymously VPN (probably some from kycnot.me with strict no-log policy and no KYC so that I won't get tracked down) and SMS verification number (for creating Google account).

I already have some Bitcoin on my Trezor (bought on CEX exchange that required KYC) and wanted to swap some of it to Monero (I have a Feather wallet on my virtual machine) however the problem that I have is that on kycnot.me I can't find the right offer for me. Sure most services have no-log policy, but there are not that many trade offers and most of the time people want to trade too much, and I only want to trade like $30 max for now.

However, I've heard of some simple services like simpleswap.io and houdiniswap.com that offer the swap in the amount that I want, but they do not state anywhere that they do have a strict no-log policy.

Do you guys know what should I do so that I can get the Monero and avoid being tracked down?

Not sure if moneros on there but maybe look into Bisq, that's what I'm looking into atm.

Sounds like peer 2 peer would be a good option with escrow, keep us updated been curious about an exchange without tons of hoops to just through. You could always use DEFI swapping

I think your only option here to truly stay anonymous is just doing peer to peer. You can find someone on HF who can do this for you in the currency exchange section.

Anyways, no matter what you do, just remember XMR is anonymous, as long as you have a good knowledge of how it works, I don’t think you should be too paranoid to just swap it even on a KYC exchange.

Once you have XMR in a wallet there is no way to prove its you transacting with it through the blockchain alone.

If you still want to be extra safe, have a receiving wallet and send those to a 2nd XMR wallet. Unless someone had access to your PC those coins are "ghost"

IF your problem starts with being able to buy XMR directly - then you can find a trusted user who is willing to exchange with you. (BTC for XMR) for example. It isn't illegal to do this.

dont use either of those exchanges, have a look at https://orangefren.com/ and choose an exchange that guarantees no kyc and aml and is in bussiness for atleast 2 years. Anything that has a "OrangeFren Guarantee" is good

use cakewallet - send ur BTC to LTC (changes block chain) then from cakewallet convert LTC to XMR (changes block chain) - not full proof but addes obfuscation.

if you want XMR for a small amount ill do a trade.

Once you have XMR, you should be good. It's not a public ledger. Even if you go to a KYC exchange and buy XMR, once you withdraw (hopefully to private wallet) your funds can't be tracked. They don't know the wallet balance. They don't know the address you send the XMR to. They don't even know about transactions period.

XMR is the holy crypto of privacy.
