So ARK is back at it again, scooping up more Bullish like they’re trying to prove a point. Cathie Wood must either know something we don’t… or she’s just too deep in this play to back out gracefully.

ARK Loves the Dip
They’ve been nibbling at Bullish since the IPO fireworks, and man, what a ride that first week was. Stock rockets from $37 to $118, and everybody’s screaming “to the moon” like it’s 2021 again. Then, crash back to earth. Sitting at $51 now, which… is still above IPO price but feels like a hangover after that initial high.
And what does ARK do? They start stacking shares like it’s on clearance. Over $8 million this week alone, on top of the other bags they grabbed earlier this month. If you add it all up, they’ve got almost $130 million parked in this one stock. That’s not pocket change, even for them.

Smart Play or Sunk Cost?
Here’s the thing that bugs me. ARK had over $170M worth of Bullish right at IPO, and now they’re down to like $129M even after buying more. That’s not just “averaging down.” That feels like they trimmed when it pumped, then doubled back when it tanked, which… yeah, okay, that’s technically “buy low sell high.” But it also smells like they’re second-guessing themselves.
I’ve played this game before, not with millions obviously, but I’ve averaged down into a falling stock thinking “the market’s overreacting.” Sometimes it works, sometimes you end up with dead money. Honestly, the chart on Bullish is screaming “bagholders unite.”

Do They See Something?
Bullish hasn’t even dropped earnings yet. Revenue slipped a bit, operating income fell off a cliff, analysts are split. Some say “neutral,” some say “outperform,” which is basically Wall Street’s way of saying “we have no idea.”
So why is Cathie so confident? Is she betting that crypto-exchange stocks will be the next Tesla? Or is she just leaning on her brand of “innovation” hype until it sticks?
I don’t know. Part of me respects the conviction, part of me thinks it’s cope. Like, if this thing goes sideways long term, ARK’s whole “visionary” angle takes another hit. And I can already hear the bears sharpening their knives.
