Random thought of the day

Ever notice how much time we spend chasing “new” when most of what works is just old stuff recycled? Platforms, apps, even memes — same formulas, different packaging. Makes me wonder how many of us are actually innovating vs just repackaging with better timing.

Not knocking it — sometimes the smartest move isn’t reinventing, it’s recognizing what people already like and giving it a fresh coat of paint.

What do you guys think? Is originality overrated, or is there still space for truly new ideas in 2025?
there is a space for truly new ideas in 2025 when we stop copying and coming up with something original
It's just social media slop pure garbage

Def. Most of the 'new' things these days are just recycled. I saw Ed Sheeran in an interview once where he explain that most pop songs are the same 4 cords.
