Everywhere I look now, AI is behind the content — music, art, writing, even memes. Part of me thinks it’s amazing because it lowers the barrier for anyone to create. But at the same time, when everything is AI-generated, it kind of makes creativity feel less rare.
So what’s your take — are we entering a golden age of creativity with better tools, or just drowning in auto-generated junk?

Both..
But as a designer/developer.. AI can do a lot, but unfortunately not enough to be 100% functional in certain sectors.

I think it develops creativity if someone uses it for their own desires or hobbies. If they have to use it, it's the opposite.
I'm sure there's some talent behind getting an LLM to output what you were trying to get it to do properly. The same effort in learning that could probably result in them being creative in their own ways.
I would have to say both. It also really depends on what type of AI though.
Both, but for most people it is killing it.
It's great to get a second opinion on some things, and has given me some ideas, but people have been relying on it way too much.

Both, but as Aeowulf says, it kills it.
I've actually been thinking a lot about it lately.
When using AI for projects, back in the days, I would learn a lot more, because I would actually have to try.

Man... I just asked ChatGPT to give me controversial topics to post as threads to invoke replies but you beat me to it.
its all depends on how you using it
I am pretty much sure the OP post is also created by AI, so what do you think yourself? :D
