EnkiRypt - General Purpose Folder/File Locking for Security
The purpose of this thread is to show an AI prompt example. That's it.
> Includes a button for help in case someone doesn't know how to use the software properly or anything / needs help.
> Written in Go/lang
> Generated in Cursor IDE using Agent:auto mode with multi-file context
> Little over an hour spent finalizing the details.
Example:

The prompt:
Woke up & couldn't go back to bed, but tired now.
Figured I'd give it a spin.
This works well for the use case where you are deploying a VM or instance and need a starting program to run, such as if you are giving access to a customer and need the filesystem locked down before they can use it.
This can also be great for pre-locking your software files.
For example if you don't have a single-file install/runtime, you could run EnkiRypt on your project folder. The customer would just enter their key to unlock the files & run your software.
EnkiRypt is a tool that allows you to pre-lock, or lock files JIT/just in time too. It can also be used for general locking.
I am not releasing source currently. Just sharing an AI prompt example
No jailbreaks needed, nothing shady, nothing weird.

The prompt:
Quote:main.go is our main runtime.
files.go finds all files in cwd and subdirs
gui.go - this is the interface where they would need to enter license. if they enter it, it unlocks any files in same dir / subdirs/files too.
cli.go - uses shared functions, for command line access to encrypt/decrypt
encrypt.go - handles secure encryption/decryption
config.json - stores plaintext license key (pre-build only), and GUI settings
build.sh - compiles program w/ config settings
we are deploying env/vms for customers, and we give them access to system but they must enter license key to access files & use. what we do is spin up a vm, then run our main program which locks all files/folders (encrypt) until they enter key (in .txt file, should not be read in runtime, instead the build process must use it and store in program using a hash - but not in plaintext because its a license key!)
We run this on our secure vm, it locks down the filesystem to encrypt all files (not itself) in same cwd as the program is actually located/running, and subfolders/files recursively.
Woke up & couldn't go back to bed, but tired now.
Figured I'd give it a spin.
