If you were to host audit logs on a chain, which one would you choose?

Not exactly related to crypto currencies but I figured it might belong here.

Anyway, I run a SaaS and I was asked by a customer if it was possible to make audit logs unforgable. Instinctively I thought this might be a perfect case to put the blockchain stamp on our name.
So my question is, if you were to choose a chain for sensitive data, which would you choose and why?

The general idea is:
  • User audits something
  • User at somepoint hits finish
  • We create a blob and save in db
  • We upload the CRC of the blob to the chain
  • If CRC matches our blob, we can assure that the audit has never been forged

Thanks for any help :)

1. 400ms block times (being lowered further to ~250-300ms soon), means you can rapidly store logs in real time
2. Incredibly cheap to store data on-chain, even cheaper if you use Walrus Protocol to store the data (Walrus protocol is literally blob storage)
3. If you ever remove the data from the chain and free up storage space you will receive a rebate based on how much storage you've freed up. So if you ever prune your old logs in the future, you'll recoup costs.
