Brand items or no name items

if you’re in the grocery store and see two items - one with a well known brand and another, no name. Which do you grab?

For me, I’d say it depends on the item. Generally speaking no name is cheaper which is nice, but sometimes that comes at a cost to the quality of what you are buying

I'll try the cheaper one. I'll look at the product's contents. If it's better, I'll buy it.
I'm probably going for the cheaper one, I dont have a thing for brands

99% of the time store brand/knock off, can't afford name brand these days and food prices are continuing to climb.

With the exception of soda, there is no alternative for Coca'Cola.

I will very soon be getting a Sams Club membership and going on a strict diet which will consist of their grilled chicken bites on wraps.
I generally chose no name items, as they are mostly just as good, when it comes to stuff I will use for years on a daily basis i will go with a brand item tho, just because I know they are good ;)
The risk of not taking risk is riskier than comfort.

Never Deal Off-Site!
Grocery store? If we are talking about food items then I am always going with the bigger name brand stuff.

Materialistic items, then I don't mind going with some other brand.

I mean brand items are always better tbh but they are not worth the price completely. I would rather buy 3 shoes for 40 bucks than 1 shoe for 120 bucks. Commercialism just makes it sound better. ✌🏿✌🏿✌🏿

better in what sense? Considering that most brands have the same manufacturers in Thailand or China

I saw that in shoes. I bought one pair of shoes one time for insane price. They lasted for a whopping 2 years. But any other pair of shoes I have are cheap and they last only 7-10 months. I dont know if it is the same for any other things though. Let me know if u have such experiences✌✌✌
Depends on the brand and price.

Sometimes the generic is better than brand name, and vice versa.
I always grab the brand of store items, best way to save some bucks most time.
I would never eat a product from China, given how often poison is detected in their items, like lethal animal food for example or led toys for kids. It's like the wild west over there.

But if a situation arose, in which I was standing in a store choosing between "Coca Cola" and "Carlos Cola" from Mexico, I would of course pick the former, but I am not entirely sure why, just a feeling and perhaps som prejudice.
