Hard to argue that social platforms haven’t shaped youth behavior. This lawsuit could set a huge precedent for how tech companies handle responsibility.

It absolutely is causing issues among youth. I am more and more leaning in to the age of consent (Whatever that is in your country) should be the line at which it is allowed for children. Just to allow people to develop better before getting deluged by it.

I do agree with age limits on social media and the sorts.
I also believe this responsibility is half way in the parents hands as well.
I do acknowledge though as a kids child enters their teens, monitoring their online presence and controlling what they ingest is not fully possible. Maybe age restrictions is the answer?

This was always bound to happen. There's really not much these companies can do to stop teens from accessing outside of requiring an ID.

Love NY, but I don't agree with this. Private companies should not be held responsible for creating products that people love, or for the content that users put online, or content that certain users choose to access, think about, and react to.
