Hello,

One of my friends’ Instagram accounts has been hacked. The hacker has changed the username and the forgot password options are not sending a link to the email. There is also a blue check mark next to the account name. How can I recover the account?
Instagram does not have email support. I reported the account via https://www.instagram.com/hacked, but nothing happened.

Since you already reported it through Instagram’s hacked account page, the best thing now is to keep following up and make sure you use the original email or phone linked to the account. Mention the blue check mark in your report too. It sometimes helps. Recovery can take a little while, but staying persistent usually works. Fingers crossed your friend gets it back soon!
