[Mxstermind]

We’re looking for someone who understands Snapchat’s web ecosystem and can replicate existing bot-like behavior (reading/writing/sending messages) within a custom web extension.

No public release — private project with its own API and design.
Rough 30–90-day timeline, budget open to quotes.

If you’ve ever built or reverse-engineered browser automation tools, DM me to discuss.

Tech stack (recommended)
• Extension: Manifest V3, JavaScript (ES2020+), no transpiler required for MVP
• Background: extension service worker (background.js)
• Content script: DOM interaction (content-script.js)
• Backend: Node.js (18+) + Express + ws for WebSocket (or socket.io if preferred)
• Auth: JWT signed by server; extension stores short-lived token in chrome.storage.session or chrome.storage.local (encrypted server-side secrets only)
• Dev: Chrome / Edge for easiest MV3 support; Firefox requires small changes (MV3 support in Firefox is partial — may need MV2 manifest or polyfills)
• Packaging: zip for sideload / private only distribution

We use GPT5 Agents on Linkedin & a few others at our company... I imagine it could handle snapchat too. You should look into browser agents ;)

I could quote you thousands of dollars, but at $20/mo starting cost for chatgpt's version, or different amounts for other AI services... I don't want to derail you with custom code when you could get started in minutes.

A lot of the browser agents also let you pause / take control so you can handle captcha, custom interactions, etc.
