Linux Basics for Hackers : Getting started with Networking Scripting and Security

My limewire/fileio account has expired so I transferred all my files into mega and found this very useful book so I am sharing with everyone. It's 272 pages long, and has a lot of fresh and useful content. It can be called an all in one for anyone with at least two hours at hand every day and test out every concept shown in the book. Really loved how the author explained it in bit details instead of giving half bit information and keeping you under the hood everytime. Instead of posting single hand alone tutorials, it has from setting up your own Kali base and setting up every repo you need depending on how you wish to use it and tutorials on how to use them at peak. Won't brag much about this book and just leave your hands to give it remarks. Don't forget to leave a Like on this thread for others to find it useful.

Haha, really great to see someone with a hard copy of it, I always thought people just posted because they tend to engage in the Convo, IRL, first time saw someone with a real hardcopy and you posting it gave me a goosebump, for real!

Haha, I used to buy a lot of hard copies in the past, but now with ChatGPT I tend to buy less. With ChatGPT I can basically upload the PDF file and ask for questions or a résumé of sections of the book

Well I don't know if its only me or its a human factor, when I tend to learn from a book with a paper copy with no flash brightness from the screen, I tend to memorize more, sipping a cup of tea in the morning due and sunrise, it stays in my head for the rest of the day and I tend to remember things when I need to just like the days in school. IDK, if its only for me or it happens with everyone. AI is great but I only use it for enhancing photos and never took a single help in coding or anything, just 1 week back I got perplexity pro but still can't find it amusing except of modifying photos. I still stick with plain old Google search and learn from multiple answers in different sites like askubuntu, superuser and other similar (same platform tho). Just my use case but AI has driven the world into a different way, but I still love putting more right and wrong knowledge in my mind, I always get new ideas from faulty answers as well, like I got to solve an old code because the question I asked had an answer which didn't fit that question but answered why my other code wasn't working from 6 months back, which seems awesome, but had to dig through 4 websites to find the answer to the original questions, so, this way I solved two issues (one by chance) and one which I was searching.

Well that is awesome, and getting a $50 bot coded for multi-searching is awesome.

TL;DR,

I sold my high end computers (2) which I brought for AI two years back with 4090 for 1/4 the price (3 computers) assembled under $15,000 and sold for under $3500 5 months back. And I am back using just my normal laptop, phone with all my Linux GUI's, tablet and my under $1.5K PC for dev purpose. Was awesome to have those high end PC but all I did was just play spiderman and that was all $15k was worth to me, Spiderman (haha) and they were sitting under the dust because I never tend to work on those machines, as too risky to keep them in sleep mode for 2-3 months, although the current PC I been using has a uptime of over 237 days so its over 6 months of uptime I guess and I don't need to worry that the processor will be fried or the GPU will go running wildfire! Glad to get rid of them and never going to buy another high end PC until I decide to go a child again and start gaming.

Have a good day guys, and good morning!
