what are discord nuke bots? Do they actually delete discord servers?

I heard nukebots can delete/destroy discord servers. However, do they work if one is not the admin of a discord server? I heard they are also used for security. (why?)
Nuke bots are essentially Discord (self-) bots that are programmed to wreak havoc on a server when activated. They'll spam messages everywhere, mass delete channels, kick or ban members, create a bunch of junk channels, change server settings, delete roles, and basically make the server completely unusable. The goal is to cause as much chaos as possible in the shortest time.

Here's the thing though: they absolutely require proper permissions to work. If you're not an admin or don't have elevated permissions like "Manage Server," "Manage Channels," "Ban Members," etc., the bot literally can't do anything. It's bound by Discord's permission system just like any other bot. So no, some random member can't just run a nuke bot and destroy a server they're in. They'd need someone with admin rights to actually add the bot and give it those permissions in the first place, which is why most nuke attacks happen when a trusted admin account gets compromised or when someone with permissions goes rogue.
Either you abuse trust relationships and gain a high role in the server to add a bot yourself or try phishing a high ranked staff-members discord account by token grabbing or something else, then using that account to "Nuke" the discord server or add your nuking bot.

what is token grabbing?
You send someone malware to execute or bait them to log in using the Discord-QR-Code function and get their discord session token

(@graybyte08341 you don't have to answer again👍) but asking open ended question for the community about how in theory one can trick admins into accepting a nuke bot.👍 thx
