I just got the m4 MacBook Air from Bestbuy for the BF Deal.

So far loving it. Main purpose of buying it was for Audio Post Production (Protools Video Editing and Sound Design)

***Paid: 813 after taxes***

I might return it before the 14 day invoice runs out . If I had the patience and didn't want the laptop asap I would have ordered it on Walmart online wait for the shipping and have a 60 day window for returns.


Reason for the return

its 16gb Ram which isn't bad but I can't upgrade it and I may need more in the future
Cooling. The m4 is like the m4 MacBook Pro it's just the cooling part that's an issue, but its work arounds for that.
May not be able to handle all the load I put on it for Audio Post Production (Time will tell)

If I do return it Ill get the m5 MacBook Pro for 1500 at a later date


Anyone got some deals out there. Cyber Monday is around the corner

You didn't know the RAM size when you were ordering it? Or did you find out afterwards that 16GB is not enough?

Nah I know it's 16gb which MAY be enough for some projects but I know in the future I will need more ram as I expand to larger projects.

In other words I know for a few months it will be fine a year maybe but I know after that time I will need to upgrade and that ram won't be enough
