Easy to modify, I was thinking about mixing in a plugin called MyAwardsTG that could be earned or purchased with the bytes. Anyone could take this and hook in another bot (or modify this bot) to use the database for UID/balance tracking for any purpose. Theoretically if enough people have bytes in this bot as-is (with no modifications), it's up to them if they want to value them. You can already send these in your TG chats so if group/channel members want to sell something for these, they could theoretically. But if they are HF users, they must use a HF Contract according to Help Docs , even if they want to chat off-site. Please don't fuck that up.

In the past I made a version of this that shared points across all TG channels/groups/chats, but it would need really strong anti-spam protections (hello privacy??) put in place to avoid having someone rack up their balance in private. That's why this bot is better for group or channel owners that want their own little fun system.

All in all, right now it's just a system that rewards people who are active, but it doesn't account for deleted messages (admin deleting spam for ex.).

Another spinoff idea would be to create a mini HF app w/ the API & let users connect their HF account, so that their bytes are tied to their HF website activity and not TG activity. That could be really interesting, but it would need to comply with TOS. Not sure if we're allowed to create mini sub-pools of bytes (become the House on TG) and run TG casinos, but it wouldn't take that much code to do it.
