I think the accumulated smell from 10 people being locked into an elevator for two weeks would be worth erasing.

They would have to poop on the floor, which would cause at least a few of them to vomit, adding to the smell.

On top of that smell of poop and vomit, there would be the smell of rotting corpses, as nobody survives without water for two weeks.
