Whats one thing you learned in 2025 that genuinely improved you?

As 2025 wraps up, I’m curious to hear from the community 👋

One thing I personally picked up this year was vibe coding and using AI for quick mockups, which really helped me move faster from ideas to something tangible without overthinking the first draft.

That got me thinking—what’s one unique or positive thing you learned in 2025 (a skill, mindset, habit, or realization) that genuinely improved you or the way you work/live?

Doesn’t have to be huge. Small learnings often compound the most.

Would love to hear everyone’s takeaways and learn from the group 🙂

Yes this I also agree with and has been a hot topic of my year and my productional skills. Without vibe coding I would be overun with exhausting tasks.

But really the main thing I learnt this year, is never to presume I know something and to question my own logic, ideas and also instead of relying on "the best coding agent" or whatever make all of these things dynamic... I know what I want but still even then I might not know exactly how to achieve this. Also, learn when to hold onto an idea even if others dought it and learn when to let go even if others think it's worth pursuing. Logic > Ego is a must.

This year has not been so much about using AI to do my work but creating a workforce using various AI's and Services that I can govern rather than prompt.. I let them prompt themselves now and if I am wrong with a desicion, no issue.. everyone makes the wrong choices in life but holding onto them is the only thing that makes you a failure.

oh, and wear sunscreen..

In 2025, I realized I’m always on the lookout for new opportunities to earn extra income—while learning along the way and sharing what I find in this forum hehe 😄 It’s been fun, useful, and surprisingly motivating

Got into reselling and now I earn free monies doing it.

Using GPT to help me with coding. It has helped me a lot as it is an area I know very little in.
I learned how to use powershell lol. Now I'm l33t.

In all seriousness as far as coding goes, I've done a shit ton of research and developement on windows lately while developing my RAT (will be releasing very soon). Tons of stuff I've always thought was impossible is now very real (silently changing and updating registry entries, bypassing firewalls, changing UI features, etc)
I learned how to format and write film scripts but not really to any good purpose. Think I'll have to just take it and all and change it into a novel because film scripts and TV pilots are pie in the sky but I wrote one of each.

Used my knowledge of art history to make a lot of nice Ai art designs.
I learned that sometimes you see the path by moving.

I completely second that, and it's not easy call to stick to it/ let it go, specially if you are married to the idea.

Hope you did make good earnings with those learnings :)

Aah, reminds me of my old days in HF when we were officially selling keys :)

Cool, may be pursue it further by leveraging the text2video based ai tools and get some teasers thrown in community for sneak peeks and feedback :)

staying greaty and stay learning
Never expect other people to have the same morals as yourself especially when it comes to business. Don't try and mix the business with the friendship it wont work
2025 taught me in the most brutal way possible to never trust a bitch
Man, I picked up a bunch of stuff this year — from sharpening my coding flow to messing around with AI mockups. Even got into building a janky script that auto‑spams my own terminal with ASCII skulls just for the vibes. Learned a lot, and half the fun was breaking stuff on purpose to see how it ticks.
Dont trust people

Reverse engineering is always a learning step :)

A golden rule! I agree!

All ears if you want to talk. And by the way, your tagline could use an update—don’t feel undervalued. Those negative experiences are just paving the way for better things ahead in life.

Fair point in certain cases—financially, yes. Otherwise, I believe trust is the glue that keeps the world going.
