Flipper Zero + Samsung tablet possibilities?

Hey guys. Decided to revisit my old interest in technology and buy a flipper. I had a raspberry pi and installed kali linux and just did skid sht on it when i was a teenager. so like idk anythingg, pls explain stuff in baby terms.

I have a spare samsung tab A sitting around and was wondering if i could use it with the flipper to do anything? add to its capabilities and what not.
Hello CrazyApeWW3
Nice to see someone else utilizing their Flipper Zero for more than just a hacking tool. I've used mine as a TV remote multiple times when I either couldn't find mine, was at a friends house where they don't have theirs, or simply to mess with friends at a gathering. FZ's have crazy capabilities, especially as time goes on. The boards have come so far over the last 5 years.

To directly answer your question OP—yes, a Flipper Zero (FZ) can connect to a Samsung tablet using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to act as a remote control or for data management through the official FZ mobile app.

If you want to use it as a remote, simply go to Apps > Bluetooth > Remote. This will put it into pairing mode. Then open your tablet/laptop/PC/TV/anything that has supports Bluetooth, and go to Bluetooth settings, and simply connect your FZ.
╰─▸ If you need further help regarding Bluetooth remote connection, you can reference the Flipper Docs, here:

As for utilizing the tablet to enhance your FZ's potential, you can use the tablets screen to view data from the FZ's sensors & radio modules (Sub-GHz, RFID, NFC, etc.) for a larger and more detailed overview during pentesting or hardware exploration for example. Since you can already use your FZ remotely as well, you can easily go through the tablets file management, settings, important data, and anything else that's displayable.

You can also use it as an emulator using FZ's Video Game Module if you'd like/have the reason to. However, since the FZ doesn't have a video-out port, you would need the Raspberry Pi RP2040 microcontroller along with the necessary components in order to mirror FZ's games or apps to your tablets screen. With this, you can them emulate almost anything from your FZ. Very cool stuff.
╰─▸ If you need further help regarding FZ's Video Game Module feature, go to this page via Flipper Docs, here:

Will definitely try this stuff out, thanks for the reply.
If i did want to use it as a hacking tool to test my own devices what would be the way to go about that, what tests should i do? Im just interested in seeing the possibilities with this thing and understanding how the systems and machines around me work.

This list is so endless due to how far the FZ has come, so in your case I'd recommend you go on YouTube, search ideas you have, and see what other people are doing with them. That's what I did when I first got mine and is also how I learned how to open my first locked gate (along with an FZ guide).
