Title: Weird interaction I had at an internet café last night.
Was at an internet café pretty late last night, place was mostly empty except for a couple people quietly gaming or scrolling. One guy sat a few PCs away from me and kept glancing over every few minutes, not in a creepy way, more like he was checking something.
After about 20 minutes he leaned over and asked if I knew why “some machines here behave differently than others,” which I thought was a weird way to phrase it. I asked what he meant and he just smiled and went back to his screen.
Ten minutes later he packed up and left, but the PC he was using stayed logged in and the browser was full of terminal tabs. I didn’t touch anything, but it felt off.
Am I overthinking this or would that weird you out too?
