Based on all my research it's good but it also said it is the easiest of the sites that are like that. HackTheBox is more difficult. But I can't say for sure. I have the pre security track finished on tryhackme after that I started relying heavily on AI to complete tasks and I don't like to cheat so I just kind of got discouraged and quit for a while.
yea im also enrolled in hackthebox but i figured id start with the easier one i feel like hackthebox im not completely lost cause i have some coding knowledge but tryhackme is showing me more of the fundamentals of cyber security i feel like once i finish thm ill be ready for htb for sure. yea i get discouraged also and sometimes lack motivation but this is my first time trying to learnanything since i dropped out of high school and i realized i never paid attention too anything cause i was never learning about anything that interest me but now that im learning about shit that i like i get lost in class lool
If I remember correctly the research I did told me like get the TryHackMe certs and then get some HackTheBox certs. Also get the CompTIA certification which is what entry level tech support jobs start with then start doing bug bounty hunting on the side and gaining more advanced certs from HackTheBox and work your way into the part of the industry you want to be in. I don't know if it really works like that but that's what I read.

Yes, it's a great resource for sure. Use TryHackMe and then switch to HackTheBox, I am told that HTB is more difficult so it is the natural next step.
Legit up to where some companies don't mind you attaching your profile to your CV.
I started using tryhackme just to keep my mind engaged into some form of learning and I am really enjoying it. As far as certs go, don’t think having them would be bad on your resume. I’ve seen people flaunting their Udemy (warez disallowed) certs, at least this one comes as a reward after passing a thorough exam.
Yeah I've sued TryHackMe quite a bit - it's a legit resource. Great for learning the basics - really good starting point.
