Legally speaking we become adults at 18. Neurologically somewhere around 24. Culturally we become adults when we take up responsibility of our lives completely and those around us aka family. Existing and / or starting a new one.

When was it or what was that moment in your life where you had to become an adult and you never looked back.

I also feel the same way. I thought I had hit that moment a few years ago but it turns out it was not quite it because there are still things remaining that I need to finish and accomplish before I can watch the sunset on the beach with a margarita in my hand.

I like to think for me, was the sudden realization that I had free will. When I was making eggs and bacon. I had the sudden idea and realization that I am an adult with free will. And as soon as that thought left me, I decided to YEET one of the fucking eggs through my open kitchen window. Straight at a security guard ( by accident) because he was doing his daily rounds at this office building that was next to our flats. It didn't hit luckily but it was not far off either. Needless to say I was venerated and felt like a fucking god after that.

Omg. I love this story. Probably one of my favorites on Hackforums.

Felt like a God huh? It reminds me of that moment in an episode of Better Call Saul. "Lightning bolts strike out of my fingers..."
